I was hurt years ago, am I still eligible?

There is a 4 year statute of limitations for workers’ compensation claims. This means some action must be taken within 4 years of the date of the work injury. However, the statute of limitations can be “tolled”, or set aside if any amount of medical bills or compensation had been paid by the compensation insurer after the injury, or if the you did not know of the injury at the time (as in an asbestos exposure case).
